Parlez Vous was started by Valerie and Chris to assist expats in all aspects of moving / living or just managing your life in France.

About Us:

Valerie fluent in French, English and Spanish was born in Pau and has been working in the UK for the past 10 years within a number of leading global companies such as IBM , Xerox and Gemplus. These roles required the ability to translate both technical and non technical information precisely from one language to another and back again which can sometimes be quite a challenge.

During our time in the UK , we happened to meet people who had property in France or were already living in France and needed help with anything from translating a letter, composing a suitable response, organising Electricite De France to installing equipment at a clients' French property whilst the owner is still based in the UK.

Chris is British  and currently learning French; he holds a UK Directorship and enjoys finding solutions to all things bureaucratic which comes in very useful in France. Chris's Father and Stepmother also live in France; they relocated to the Potiers region approximately 5 years ago and have succeeded in learning the language to a high standard but even in these circumstances they have requested Valerie's help from time to time as French can be quite a complex language to master.
